Participation

We invite all interested researchers to submit their contributions and look forward to a stimulating exchange in Rostock. The forum is aimed particularly at young researchers and offers them the opportunity to gain initial experience in publishing scientific papers at a conference. For this reason, we would like to point out that authorship is restricted to researchers without a doctoral degree.

The authors confirm that this manuscript is original, has not been previously published, is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, and is not a translation.

Registration

Registration via the ConfTool system. If you have not yet registered an account for submitting contributions, please first create an account in the ConfTool system and then register for the conference.

Submission of full paper

Full papers may be submitted by the date specified in the schedule. Please read the following information carefully:

  • The forum is aimed particularly at young researchers and offers them the opportunity to gain initial experience in publishing scientific papers at a conference. For this reason, we would like to point out that authors must be researchers without a doctoral degree.
  • Contributions may be submitted in both German and English.
  • Contributions must be submitted exclusively via our online submission system, ConfTool.
  • We provide templates for LaTeX and Microsoft Word for preparing papers. These templates contain all the formal elements and are already formatted.
  • Papers may not exceed 8 printed pages (including references). You will find more detailed information on formatting in the templates.

All submitted papers will undergo a double-blind peer review.

  • Please do not include any information about authorship or universities/institutes in the paper or in the file names when submitting for the first time (before review).
  • Anonymisation of information is required only during the submission of the whole paper to avoid influencing the peer review process. Anonymisation is not required when submitting the final paper.
  • The peer review process is carried out according to the motto ‘by young researchers for young researchers’. This means that all first authors who have submitted a paper will be assigned two documents for review.
  • You will receive all the necessary information about the peer review process at a later date.
